Clean Your Apartment

The first thing that comes to our mind is cleaning our apartment. But most of the times we don’t clean our apartment. As a result, the cat litter odor gets mixed with the air.

So, you need to clean your apartment from top to bottom. Take a broom and dustpan and start cleaning your apartment from the top to the bottom. You can use a vacuum cleaner as well but you need to keep it away from the area where the cat litter is stored.

Remove The Cat Litter

The next step is to remove the cat litter from the apartment. Don’t throw the litter in the garbage bin, as it will spread the smell all over the apartment. You can use a plastic bag to put the litter in it and then throw it away.

Use A Dryer

You can also use a dryer for the same purpose. Take a towel and put it in the dryer for 10 minutes. Once the towel gets hot then take it out and keep it aside. Now, place the towel in the room where the cat litter is stored.

Clean Your Furniture

If you have any piece of furniture in your apartment, then you need to clean it with an air freshener. You can use a spray or you can even use a cloth.

The last but not the least thing is to clean your carpet. You can use a cleaning solution and get rid of the smell from the carpet. You can also use a vacuum cleaner for the same purpose.
