The best time for feeding kittens is between 5 to 7 weeks of age. At this age, they will be able to eat food without any problems.

How To Feed Kittens

Feed them a small amount of food in the morning and evening. If you are feeding them a dry food then mix it with warm milk and feed them in a bowl. You need to make sure that they eat the entire food within half an hour.

Don’t give them too much food as it may lead to diarrhea. So, keep the amount of food they get in a week around 3 to 4 ounces.

When Should I Stop Giving Them Food?

After 7 to 8 weeks of age, kittens will start eating solid food. The best time to stop giving them food is at around 10 weeks of age. If you want to continue feeding them until they are 16 weeks old, then it is fine but make sure that you don’t feed them for more than two days.

Conclusion:

If you are going to start feeding your kitten then make sure that you feed them a small amount of food every day. You need to make sure that they eat the entire food within half an hour.
