The best flea and tick collar for dogs are a highly effective flea killer that is easy to use and maintain. I have used them for the past six years. My older dog had pretty severe flea infestations. His hair would curl up on his face in little patches, and his ears were watery and sensitive to any flea activity. He also had some problems with recurring flea infestations because he was always out in the yard. I researched flea control products for our family dog, but did not find one that worked well.

After many failed attempts at commercial products: I finally discovered natural flea control products. They seemed to work better than all of my other efforts, including flea collars. My dogs seemed happier, had more energy and were less prone to fleas. We switched over to natural flea control products and are happy ever after.

I love my dogs, but they could not stand the thought: of having their skin chewed to pieces by the fleas and ticks. I decided that I would never let my dogs suffer like that. So, I bought him an effective collar with built-in sensors. He wears it all day and then takes it off for the night. I leave it on him while he is sleeping and then check it the next morning to make sure it is not creating more irritation to his skin.

The collar I chose has worked very well: It takes a few minutes to attach the sensor to his neck. During the day, it detects live fleas and larva, as well as dead fleas and their eggs. When the collar is on, it will release a powerful odor that makes the fleas and ticks go away. As soon as the dog moves, the collar automatically releases a natural predator spray, which contains the same chemicals as the collar.

The best part is that there are no chemicals involved: None of the chemicals are absorbed into the dog’s skin, nor do they make him sick. He simply becomes uncomfortable because he thinks there are creepy things in the air, rather than being sick. I also notice that he does not run as often when he has the collar on, probably because he is not being chased by those insects.

There are a couple things to keep in mind when buying this type of collar: I would suggest choosing a color that is darker than you want your dog to be. Check the tags for any type of manufacturing defect, and make sure that there is a warranty in place.

You will probably spend quite a bit of money on this product, so it’s worth it to have it checked out and protected. This is probably the best flea and tick collar for dogs I’ve ever seen.
